I know if its been a minute since the last installment of Silk's Book Club, but I think I've read about 15 Clive Cussler books straight, and didn't want to bore the "Oh Snaps" faithful. If you have an inkling for a good Adventure Novel, I recommend starting with INCA GOLD, which is my favorite thus far in my quest to take down every Dirk Pitt (the heroin of his stories, think of a Blue Collar James Bond) novel.
At any rate, I just finished "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman. Not sure how to describe it, so let's just say its pretty Hipster. It's a blend of a few different genres (Fantasy, Americana, Science Fiction, Mythology), with a bit of adventure/mystery for kicks. I've never read a book like this, and it was pretty interesting. Read a synopsis somewhere online, and see if tickles your fancy.
