And1 x DimeMag T Shirt Design Contest!
All of you aspiring designers out there need to get on this...
Go to this page for the details, but here is the jist:
1. The base of the shirt will be white and we need you to unleash your creativity on the front. It can be your own original dope design, a great slogan, or both. If you’re gonna work real players into the design, they have to be AND 1’s NBA endorsers or Mix Tape players.
2. The Dime logo has to also be on the front of the shirt. Contact tee@dimemag.com and we’ll send you our official logo and AND 1’s logo.
Email the low resolution jpegs of your design to tee@dimemag.com and the winner will have the shirt produced and 50 of them sent to his or her house. The winner will also be featured in an issue of Dime and will receive a full wardrobe - kicks and apparel - from AND 1.
And all you have to do is hook your boy up with a large for a referral fee ;)

New L&D at DigitalGravel
Man...I used to think I was Dee Brown back in the day, no joke. This shirt is CRAZY....act fast
"Sick imagery of the legendary moment where Dee Brown won the 1991 Slam Dunk Competition in the style of a classic basketball card, capturing the point where he won the whole contest by doing a dunk with his eyes covered. This event also happened to be the debut of Reebok's Pump shoes, so it's pretty cool that their first sponsored player won, and that he famously stopped right before the winning dunk to bend over and pump up the shoes. Now that's what we call marketing. "

Cosby
Hard to find Cosby shirts around, especially this Truffle Shuffle joint right here. I definately had to cop this one for my boy's bday...I remember in 4th grade he's always try and get me to watch the Goonies on his LaserDisc player (Yeah, I said LaserDisc...he thought he was the coolest kid on the block back then)...funny how things change. If you are an XL, you can still cop the above at KRUDMART

Kid Rock, Pam, and Borat
So what would force Pam Anderson to divorce Kid Rock after just three months of marriage? Borat, of course. Or at least Pam’s role in the Borat movie, which Kid saw for the first time when a private screening has held for Kid, Pam and some friends two weeks ago. A friend tells Page Six:
"Bob (Kid Rock) started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, 'You're nothing but a whore! You're a slut! How could you do that movie?' - in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing. Pam thought he could have a sense of humor about the movie. She was in on the gag from the very beginning and loved doing the movie. And on the eve of what was supposed to be a very positive thing, he made it an awful night. Ever since, it has been icicles between them. Bob is just a very unhappy and angry man. Pam is very disenchanted and sad. You know, there are reasons why she never married him before. Those reasons disappeared while they were together on a boat in St. Tropez, but she knows now that they never went away. The reality is he is an insecure, angry man."
Um, really. The star of 'Joe Dirt' and 'Biker Boyz' is looking down on Pam because of her movie choices? And did it really take the Borat movie for Bob to realize that Pam is a slut? It's Pam Anderson. Pam doing something slutty is like a badger being mean or Jesus flying through the clouds and saving people. That's just what they do. Pam's been a slut for like 20 years now. If you showed me a picture of her with her legs spread, you'd have to include a football next to it for scale.

Guess who is rockin' The Hundred's now....
yup...the king himself. Both flicks were taken during his recent 'hanger' tour where he performed in 7 cities in 26 hours... you can read an hour by hour account of his tour here
My favorite excerpt from the story:
"While spreading a little mayo on his sandwich, Hov drops the bread on his pants, and it falls to his sneakers. "Oh, that's tragic," he says calmly — about as calmly as you can when using the word "tragic" in a sentence. "Can I get another piece of bread, please?" he asks the flight attendant. " 'Cause it's really the bread that's more pressing," he adds, stressing that his mini meal is more important than the minor stains on his attire. It's not like he doesn't have a lot more clothes with him.3:30 p.m:Sure enough, Jay later emerges from his jet in a new pair of jeans and a white hoodie with pictures of safety pins all over it."
Anyway, shout out to The Hundreds...doing big things (even if their picnic hats fit wierd...lol)

November's Diggers Society Shirt...
Nick from Diamond Supply Co...posted this on the HypeBeast forums relating to this month's Digger's Society Shirt:
"I wish I could show u guys, but they told me they want it to be a suprize.
This might be the best looking Diamond shirt I have ever made. In my opinion.
I caught a lot of slack from my people at Diamond for giving this design up to Diggers for free, but since they are the homies I want thr members of Diggers to get something dope from us.
I hope you guys like it."
(for you slow ones out there, that is a pic of him and the diamond dunks that came out awhile back, that is NOT the shirt that's droppin this month). Keep checkin those mailbox's!

And just cuz I know you are fienin, here is a sick Obey shirt. I wasn't going to post this shirt since I was going to buy it, but after the weekends trip to Barracuda, I need to cut back on the spending. So here is a nice shirt from Obey, only 35. It's part of their "single sheer ringspun cotton" line so you know its going to be baby soft and run a size small.

Outlawz feat Stormey, Malachai - Fork In The Road (Video)
Another great video you'll never see on MTV/BET. That's another discussion for another time, but check out this video for Fork In The Road feat Stormey (1st Verse) and Malachai (On the hook). Noble does his thing, and Kastro murders the last verse. Glad to see/hear from Kastro, he hasn't been getting down on as many tracks lately.
The song is from the Outlawz/Dead Prez collab cd, "Can't Sell Dope 4ever". If you like this song, you should pick the cd up for sure, because this is the type of stuff that is on there. I'm not trying to force them down your throats, but if you don't know much about the Outlawz, don't like them, or don't know what they are about, just watch the vid and listen to the words.

Undefeated New Era!
Hmmm.... These new Undefeated hats just dropped. The classic Undefeated Logo out front, with the always hot elephant/concrete print...can't go wrong. Looks like I may need to make a trip to La Brea this weekend and visit the triple threat (i.e. Stussy, Union, and Undefeated). It's been a minute. More details at SlamXHype

I always had a special thing for this shirt since I first saw it on krudmart a while back. Was it the clown? The colorway? The Cocaine? I'm not sure. I just can't cop it though, I just can't feel right with it...too many memories. Anyway, cop it! Shirt via Special Needs, Pic courtesy of SlamxHype.

Kid Robot LA re-opens, New Location!
I remember it like its yesterday...I'm chillin' at 3rd St. Promenade...hitting up a couple stores, when I decide that its time to to stop by Kid Robot, maybe pick up a Smorkin Labbit or Munny, you never know. To my surprise, I found a boarded up store with a note saying "KidRobot LA is moving to its new location, Grand Opening Soon"...
Well a month or so later, the info has finally come out, via Kid Robot
"We've packed up and moved our LA store over to Melrose Ave
And now that we are all set up we want you to come join us and
Swizz Beatz in celebrating the grand opening of our brand new store!
We have held back a few our most sought after hoodies just for this event.
So come on down to 7972 Melrose Ave. from 7-9PM to check out our new
digs and take home some amazingly limited apparel."
See you there! Well, if I'm off work by then ;)
Thank You
This is a couple weeks now though, but I've been playing the hell out of it. More so than the actual album version. Check out Xzibit's performace of his song, Thank You, live on Letterman. I must admit, I thought his career was over after Pimp My Ride...

New Ice Cream Accesories...
Ok...Pharrel, Nigo, seriously. $105 for the same type of belt I can get a t-shirt warehouse for $3 is a lil excessive, don't you think? Yeah, $60 for the boxers is a tad bit much as well.... BBC/IceCream if you are interested.
Undefeated x Stussy x Hectic x New Balance
I'm a little over the candy colored-taste the rainbow style shoes... I mean seriously, how many kicks do you need that have 5 colors that typically don't go together at all.... but hey, that's just me. Cop em while you can! Oct 21, Undefeated in Japan...
