The Hundreds x NERF

I don't know about you - but when I initially heard that The Hundreds was collaborating with NERF on one of their classic Footballs - I was hoping it was going to be Vortex Mega Howler; that was the only kind of football I liked when I was younger! Vintage-esque commercial and ad for the football after the jump.

Happy Socks - Fall 2012

It's safe to say that socks have been quite the rage the last couple of seasons with everyone trying to get their hands on a trend before eventually getting played out (we're looking at you - Rob Kardashian, and if you don't get that reference, bless your heart).

 Happy Socks was the brand that initially encouraged me to step up the designs on my work socks - and while I can't discredit their designs - their are more quality pairs out there (Chup, Anonymous, Ayame) worthy of checking out. Peruse Happy Socks latest collection here.

Barney's x Disney

I never thought I'd see the day that I'd see Goofy (a la Disney fame) rockin' some Balmain - but that's exactly what you get with Barney collaborates with Disney's favorites (Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Cruella de Vil, Princess Tiana and Snow White) for their latest campaign. IRONSIDES

Ironsides is a new brand out of New York whose sole goal was to create a classic surf short in the USA that looked just as good in the water as it does out - and from the looks of it, mission accomplished. Supreme - Fall/Winter 2012

Once again, Supreme utilizes the services of professional skateboarder (and designer/owner of Fuckin' Awesome) Jason Dill for the lookbook. Check out the entire collection over at Oyster. Also, last year Vice Magazine did a pretty good interview with Jason Dill that is definitely worth a read. The Hundreds - Digi Camo Pack

I've had quite a few posts on Camo gear this year, and it's been all the rage this whole season. My favorite part is the way brands are able to capture some of their brand identity within their camo print, as demonstrated by The Hundreds above. The Digi Camo print is inspired and created with militaristic and technological undertones - and looks dope! More pics of the collection here. 

ONLY NY - Fall 2012

ONLY NY has gone from being an emerging brand on this site to one of my favorite brands based outside of California. The current fall collection is in my opinion their best to date - you can still get the hand drawn designs you've come to expect from them, but in addition to graphic  t's (check below for a Keith Haring inspired 'Wave' t) you can look for simple pocket t's, nautical themed tanks, and overall clean designs. Kenzo x Vans - Grapes

California's own VANS have once again collaborated with Paris fashion house Kenzo on a pair of shoes - this time, paying homage to one of the things California and Paris does best - wine (well, grapes, but still). I'm thinking I need to sport these on the next Napa trip with wifey.

No Lie

Not sure if I should be more embarrassed about buying the 2 Chainz cd, the Justin Beiber cd, or the fact that I still buy cd's in general - but I'm comfortable enough in my skin to say that both albums are worth a listen. TRUE!

CP3 x Jordan Olympic VII "Gold"

Congrats to Team USA for their huge win over the Spanish team today! After the game, CP3 posted the image above of the truly "Golden" Jordan Olympic VII. Great shot. One thing I'll remember about these Olympics is the unparralled level of access fans got to the athletes through the various social media outlets (Instagram, Twitter, etc). La Mer Collections

I was randomly searching a well-known online streetwear site the other day, found a "made in the USA" section of their store, and stumbled on this women's watch brand called La Mer. I did some research on the brand and liked the backstory, and since wifey had been looking for a new watch for awhile, I figured what the heck - give a new brand a shot .  We got the watch in the mail today - and it lived it up to the hype (especially at that price point) . If you (or your girl) is in the market for a new watch - try something outside of norm. More info on the brand after the jump.

Stussy x DC Comics (Batman)

I like this imagery of this Batman a lot - it really *nerd alert* reminds me of a poster I had on my wall back in grade school of the Dark Knight. Shirt will be dropping at select Stussy stores soon. 

En Noir

Complex nailed it with their latest feature/interview with Rob Garcia and CurT@!n$ of En Noir. You've seen Kanye West strutting around in their Leather sweatpants (yes - leather sweatpants) - or Big Sean in one of their renaissance inspired shirts. With a minimalistic approach to branding and an emphasis on fit, details (RiRi zippers), and quality (they use the same Paris factory that produces Chanel, Balmain, etc) - this brand is one to keep an eye on. Street Stone by Alex Parsini

This is a pretty dope look - Alex Parsini took to classic statues and dressed them in modern menswear for a whole new visual dynamic. Check out a couple more pics from the set after the jump, and more of Alex Parsini's work here.

Ministry of Supply - Where Fashion Meets Technology

This is what happens when 2 engineers, an investment banker, and a consultant get together to create a business wear line. Dress shirts built with engineering analysis? Thermo imaging from MIT? Technology straight from NASA? This is serious stuff. Pictured above is the "Apollo"shirt - a premiums shirt featuring their proprietary Apollo blend fabric which provides NASA heat regulation, anti-microbial functionality, moisture wicking features (a la' Nike Dri-fit) - all wrapped up in to an iron-free shirt. Where fashion meets technology. That's the business.
