Ok, so maybe I'm holding out. I came up on this brand during a Summer trip to Fairfax, and made the obligatory stop to The Reserve (half Freshjive flagship store, half art gallery, half book store, yeah I know that adds to 3 halves, thats how cool the store is). ANYWAY, was diggin this brand for what it was, HIGH quality, throwback gear (think early Stussy at its roots) with a nice cut'n'sew fit and sick colorways.
Well lo and behold, there was a feature on it @ The Beast today. Now that the cat's out of the bag....lol:
Manifested from the mind of surfer Trace Marshall, Warriors of Radness presents a fashion memoir of LA lifestyle stemming from the rough streets of East LA to the exquisite beaches of Malibu. An extension of their small 2004 clothing project, GONZ! named after surfer Eric Gross, Warriors of Radness continues their philosophical views into 2008. Along with Freshjive founder Rick Klotz and brother Chad, W.O.R demonstrates the opposite of what the surf industry has become, taking a break from the cookie cutter labels and venturing into another realm of design. With a mindset focused on strong roots from such a diverse upbringing, the collective craft garments showcasing what surfing truly represents and the free spirit involved within the process.

Dustin's (the Designer) words: "Our Fall2 delivery is hitting stores as we speak.
Inspired by our version of the american dream. Classic Americana the 1992 version.
I was in highschool when Hilfiger jackets, polo sport, Helly Hansen and Nautica were big. I used to see it in the magazines and on Marlon Wayans from the Wayans Bros. show (don't hate. You watched it too). Being from the Bay nobody really was into it. I used to have to venture to SF to hit the Helly Hansen store and the big Macy's over there."

Anyone that knows me knows that I support Kurupt in pretty much any venture he gets down in (yes, that included watching 'celebrity rap superstar'. As part of the Hundreds "Rosewood Collection", they got down with Kurupt to re-enact the cover and back tracklisting of his WESTCOAST CLASSIC ALBUM, "The Streetz iz a Mutha". I really hope the hype doesn't reach astronomical levels on this shirt because I am a huge fan of both parts of this collab (NOW I know how those old punk heads felt when Supreme collabed with Bad Brains, lol). View the rest of the Rosewood collection here. Drops this Friday.
DEFINITE must cop. The Jimi Wallet is a Money Clip/Wallet that holds a wad of cash and up to 5 cards. With smooth colorways, small dimensions (4″ x 2.5″ and 0.5″), low price (11 Euro),and overall greeness (made of recycled plastic), I can't pass this up. May be my xmas gift of choice this year as well. Check the site here.
