Adam Kimmel x Supreme

Adam Kimmel and Supreme have collaborated again on a collection of 2 suits - and just like my thoughts on the first one, I'm excited. Whenever high fashion and streetwear meet in a medium that is beneficial to both parties - how can you not support? I'm a fan of cross-function products - a suit that I can wear anywhere from the office to a formal business meeting, and be swagged out to the max in both situations? I'm with it!

Supreme has worked with American designer Adam Kimmel to produce a two-piece corduroy suit for this Fall. The suit is understated, well crafted and made from Italian cotton corduroy. It features an unlined two button suit jacket & custom fit pant. Available in two colorways; dark navy and dark green.

Available in-store in NY, LA, London, Japan and online on November 3rd.

Freddie Gibbs | Cold Day In Hell (Street Album)

Here is Gangsta Gibbs newest project or should I say "street album" Cold Day In Hell. With features including Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz and Juicy J plus production from The Olympicks, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, DJ Burn One, Cardo, Big K.R.I.T. and more. Looks like LRG helped sponsor this one. Happy Halloween and Happy Monday!

Terrace Martin | Locke High 2

I can't say I've heard Locke High 1 or much of his music but I came across a cool video with Kendrick & Wiz in the studio with this guy and instantly became intrigued as Kendrick's rhyme skills are growing to become one of my favorite, you can check out the video here. Anyways this is a cool body of work with a few standout tracks; Reasons for Seasons & In The Sky to name a few. DL and enjoy!

UNDFTD x Eric Brunetti x Al Davis

My dude Eddie Cruz gave a preview of this Undftd shirt paying homage to the one and only Al Davis - and all I can is "yes please". Love the caricature and hand-drawn font by Eric Brunetti (of Fuct) - perfect execution. More details regarding release coming soon.

Sidenote - have you seen the intro video on the Fuct website? How dope is that?

A$AP Rocky | Bass

First off I want to start off by saying this cover is dope and reminiscent of the Outkast Stankonia CD cover but in black and white. This guy is gaining steam fast and this sound fits his style perfect. LiveLoveA$AP due out on Halloween should be a great project. This beat is super funky. Producers are definitely stepping their game up. Enjoy!

Wale | Slight Work Ft. Big Sean

Another track of the Ambition album. If you haven't checked out his VLOG's yet I suggest you do. Check them out here: The Making of Ambition. He actually has a lot of valuable things to say, and unless you've been living under a cave Ambition due out 11/1/11. So now about this track all I can say is the beat is nasty and involves a play on sirens, Diplo with the production credits. I DO IT!
Blocka blocka blocka b*tch get hit with my circoa vodka choppa takin body shots blocka blocka blocka probably in your girls drinks probably in your daughter locka - Big Sean

Natasha Poly x Terry Richardson x Vouge Paris x Big L

I love Love LOVE this photo shoot. Huge props to Terry Richardsoon for taking this shoot out of his studio and in to the streets. The fact that the shoot included this photo above featuring the famous Big L mural in Harlem is so dope. I've featured Big L on here a couple of times (remember that 3Sixteen x Big L shirt back in 2006? Fire) – and I support dude to the max…big Big L fan. Hop on twitter and share some of your favorite #BigL quotes!

Props to High Snobiety for the heads up - and check their site for additional photos from the shoot.

Banksy x #Occupy London?

The infamous Banksy (allegedly) lends a hand to the Occupy (the world) movement with this installation of Uncle Pennybags sitting on the Monopoly Board, panhandling next to a foreclosed home. The piece can be found near St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Check Arrested Motion for more pics.

Omar Doom's 2011 Halloween Mix

If you are having a Halloween party and Omar Doom's 2011 mix is not on the playlist - reconsider your plans. The 2009 and 2010 edition were crazy, and 10 minutes in to the 2011 mix, I can say he has managed to step his game up. Props to DJ Thee Mike B (one of the illest DJ's around in my opinion) for the look. Oh - and how about that cover art?

Nike Zoom KD IV NERF

This is probably one of the coolest collaboration projects Nike has done. KD and the Nike team hooked up with NERF to inspire the colorway, but that isn't where the magic stopped. The box the shoes come in actually transform in to one of the old-school NERF backboards 99% of kids growing up had hanging on their door. More pics after the jump! Via Kevin Durant's official website, and his twitter account, of course.

T&C Shirt

T&C has always been a favorite of mine - ever since I was a young buck and came up on one of the infamous cartoon shirts of the 80's and 90's (penned by none other than Steve Nazar). Anyway - this shirt is pretty clean. You can purchase at their online store, here.

All City Breakers by Kid Robot

I haven't been doing many posts on toys, excuse me, collectible vinyl art pieces, lately. There were some great things that came out last year, but in my humble opinion - everything this year has been a bit expected and mundane. This "All City Breakers" collection from Kid Robot changes all that. Army-men style figurines bustin moves at a $1.99 each (blind box assortment)? I'm with it, and will be adding some funk to my office desk shortly.

Stussy Canada Crewneck (Run the North)

Wish this Stussy x Canada fleece collection would have dropped a week or two ago while by boy/OSTT family Mike was up in the country of Maple and Moose. I guess I'll have to drown my sorrow's in the beers he brought me back "From the North, with Love" - no homo.

The Hundreds x Hex

Our friends over at The Hundreds collaborated with HEX on these multi-functional iPhone cases/wallets. Since I recently invested in a quality leather piece from Tanner Goods, I'm not in the market for a new wallet. That being said - I like this design a lot - and it would be a great piece to have in your pocket to hold your iPhone, Credit Card, Cash, ID, and Insurance Info all in one spot while out cycling. Available tomorrow - Friday, October 14th, at all flagship locations and online.

J.Hop Presents: OSTT Vol. IV | Birthday Edition

COVER:
Haaaa so for this one the infamous fro and gold chain. This is actually a picture of me playing piano and not just any piano my job had a anniversary party at Roseanne Barr's house in Malibu and this is me after a couple drink on her piano I played a few keys but nothing special. My buddy Adjmal actually said hey you should make that a album cover and I thought why not. This one fits a little better with the type of music so I hope you enjoy. Shout out again to Simon Blockley or the artwork.

Title (Birthday Edition IV):
So hopefully you read the last low down for why I named it Birthday Edition 27 tracks for my 27th birthday and for those that don't know what OSTT mean it should be pretty obvious but it's (Oh Snaps That's Tight).

Music:
So this version is a mixture of a few genres with no rap songs except for maybe a few rap features this is everything but rap. I've told this story before but I've been somewhat blessed with a musical ear because of my pops and so unlike most I listen to all types of music I remember a time when no one would listen to anything but one genre now music is becoming more of a melting pot. I think its great it use to bother me so much when people would only listen to 1 or 2 artist and say these are the only artist that are real or good right now........ BS there is so much music out there and I am super unbiased so hope you like the tracks I selected I think all around this mixtape has some cool sleeper tracks and maybe some you've heard.

HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY TO ME (10/16):
Just wanted to say thanks for those who have downloaded IV.5 or those who plan on downloading both or just this one. All I want for my birthday is to share with you songs that I like and artist I like who I think you should go out and support/listen to. No gift or happy bday is required haha I'm a good person and want to give to you more than anything. Most of you know I'll support artist by going to concerts and buying albums so although I may be giving you some songs from albums and that may be illegal I look at it as awareness. So listen, enjoy & support the artist. LOVE YOU ALL

J.Hop Presents: OSTT Vol. IV.5 | Birthday Edition

COVER:
Yes it's about that time.... So I figured this time around I'd do something a little different then the norm. Before I talk about the music I want to get into the album cover aesthetics. First all shout out to my buddy Simon you may have seen some more work from him on all those Beats by Dr Dre custom headphones & etc check his site out here: Simonblockley.com. I usually hook up with my buddy Jose but for the bday edition I wanted to give you something rather then receive. I took this photo on the set of our Phiten shoot in NY I'm a goofy person and I like to smile and have fun so I figured why not use this photo?

Title (Birthday Edition IV.5):
As for the title (Birthday Edition & IV.5) - I thought it would be cool on my 27th birthday to give you 27 tracks I really like. As for the IV.5 since this is the 5th version I wanted to please both the hip hop fans and the people who like everything else besides hip hop so this is labeled IV.5 because it's the rap version which goes with the hardcore rap cover.... Not trying to diss rap or make fun of it we actually used some of these props in our upcoming video with Pac Div - Carmelo, Chris Bosh, Eric Gordon & D. Will.

Music:
Now to the music! So as I said earlier this time around I did two different versions, a rap version which is this one and a Electronic/R&B/Alternative/Blues version. This one is for the rap heads and has 27 tracks you an see the back cover with all the artist I featured after the jump. These songs are ones that I listen to often and I think they are well produced. So much music comes out on a daily basis its hard for most to keep up. For those of you that do you've probably heard all these songs but I wanted to put together songs by artist that may have flown under your radar. I want to music to do the talking plus I know most of you won't read this so I'll keep it short.

HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY TO ME (10/16):
Just wanted to say thanks for those who have downloaded or those who plan on downloading. All I want for my birthday is to share with you songs that I like and artist I like who I think you should go out and support/listen to. No gift or happy bday is required haha I'm a good person and want to give to you more then anything. Most of you know I'll support artist by going to concerts and buying albums so although I may be giving you some songs from albums and that may be illegal I look at it as awareness. So listen, enjoy & support the artist. LOVE YOU ALL

Stray Rats

I am beyond surprised with how quickly the Stray Rats collection sold out! Crazy what a current "it" artist wearing your gear will do for an upstart. There are still some quality pieces from the collection available, but you'll need to act quick. Check out the webstore here. More pics after the jump.

The North Face - Purple Label

The North Face makes quality gear. No one has questioned that. As a matter of fact - I bust out my North Face gear on an annual basis during the mandatory trek out to Mammoth Lakes for a week long backpacking excursion. Known for their simple designs - this eye-popping backpack/duffle bag collection DEFINITELY caught me off guard - and got me excited. I am definitely going to be adding these pieces to the weekend luggage collection - coming to an airport near you!

Diamond Supply Co - Fall 2011 Shoes

*Big Sean voice* Hold up Hold up Whoa dere.... These are made by Diamond Supply Co?! I've never been a huge fan streetwear brands transitioning in to shoes in general - but Diamond pulled it off with the Marquise and Lo-cut models, shown above. Simple and Stylish - for the win.

RIP Steve Jobs

Visionary. Icon. Genius. Legend. These are the type of words that get thrown around too often - but truly only apply to a select few - and Mr. Jobs was one of them. Granted I work for a technology/green company, but someone's death hasn't reached so many people in any office I've been in since Michael Jackson's passing. I'm not going to run through his list of accomplishments - there are plenty of other places to go for that - but seriously - his story reads like a true American folk tale. What started with being adopted at birth and was followed by dropping out of college, led to the invasion of home computers with the Apple II, to one of the most successful runs at being a CEO/Spokesperson/Salesperson/Face of a Company in history, a reign that included the introduction of the revolutionary 'i' products - iPod, iMac, iPhone, iPad, and so much more. From a fashion perspective - he wasn't really setting trends - but hey, the black mock turtleneck, faded "mom jeans" from Levi's, and grey new balances pretty much set the tone of consistency, don't they? Check out  after the jump for a pic of what I'd love to see Apple adopt as their new logo, as well as a history of Steve Jobs 'fashion choices'.

Converse x Marimekko - Holiday Collab

Two things that will never go out of style - Chucks, and Polka Dots, ok, mabye polka dots did bite the dust a bit when Biggie threw his infamous shots at Kwame in Unbelievable, but regardless - I like these a lot.
