Not much to add here. Shawn Stussy is utilizing the same minimalistic features as prominantly displayed in the two footwear models that have recently been released. Don't lose track of this brand, as I'm sure it will grow to be just as prominant as his previous venture, with a more mature twist.

New Kobe Zoom IV mark ups paying homage to the day he was drafted in the colorway of his original team (Charlotte Hornets). Problem? The first run of shoes printed the wrong date on the heel. Cop your 'sure to be' collectors item now, before they are reprinted with the correct draft date (6/26/96, google it).

After an EPIC Booze Cruz this weekend with the fellas from PC, it's only right that I post this shirt this today. Acted to slow (only a Small left in Blue and a XXL in White), but if that works for you, go here.

New marketing ideas are rare in hip-hop these days but of course innovator Mos Def is bringing the creativity to the marketing campaign of his current album “The Ecstatic.” The album has already been released but in a new twist Mos Def has partnered with clothing company LnA which owns the Invisible DJ Music Tee to further push the album.
Basically, Mos Def’s next album will literally be sold through a t-shirt. The shirt will have “The Ecstatic” album cover on the front, track listing on the back and will include a special download code to download the entire album. Buy the shirt…get the album. Crazy thing is according to HipHopDX, SoundScan is going to count the t-shirt as an album sale. Sounds pretty cool…unless the shirt is ridiculously expensive.

No, not THAT Maxim. You know I'm big on original Air MAX 1's, especially the OG colorway, but here Nike continues its current trend of "hyprids" by importing the latest technology (flywire on the upper half, which allows for a lighter and more supportive shoe. Style and Substance? Let's rock...

Shawn Stussy's NEW jump-off (remember he sold Stussy, Inc in 1996) S-Double recently got together with Vans for these co-branded Vans Syndicates. Check more pics here. Check out S-Double'ssite as well...
Words exclusively from SS "Here is a look at the sneaker that Vans will be selling in shops that sling their Syndicate stuff...I was approached by buddies at Vans to take an existing style they were already running and pick some materials, colors and such... I decided to massage the avsk8lo model because I felt they never gave this model enough love in the choices available... So here you have it, thick waxy leather up front, ballistic nylon where normally canvas would be used... Waxed cotton laces and a red leather footbed with some graphics... This joint will be available in Navy w/white stitching and Black w/black stitching... Sorry I can't tell you exactly where to get this shoe, as S/Double is not involved in the selling or distribution... Ask around at your local shop that sells Vans for some details... This is a Syndicate thing that I guess you could say I guest designed on for them... I really want to get my hands on a pair of those Navy ones... I am feeling the marine, boating vibe of it... Ready for summer"

Boston.com has a great article up on the rehibilitation efforts of Chris Herren. I remember staying at my grandparents crib up in Visalia and being mesmorized by Fresno State Bulldogs backcourt, and once that FSN special came out, forget about it.
Anyway, highlights from the article:
Tarkanian on Chris: "He had great guard speed. He was a quick guard. He was better than Rafer at that time. But Rafer was the first one in the gym and the last one out. Chris had other things he was interested in."
Chris on the night he dropped 19pts in 30mins against UMASS: "I'd be partying for two or three days, then walk in to play UMass on an hour sleep on national TV."
Chris on drugs: "The reality is, I've lived in seven different foreign countries and six different American cities and I found drugs in all of them," Herren said. "So it's not where you live, it's the person that you're bringing there.
