Tired of walking in the office (or classroom) and having on the same cologne as everyone else? You have two options - where Bath&Body Works for Men like my boy Drew has done for the last 10+ years, or go for a more small batch cologne (that you CAN'T get at your standard Department store). Juniper Ridge has a nice Big Sur inspired scent that is 100% distilled from various ingredients (plants, barks, and moss) found backpacking in Big Sur area. More info after the jump.

According to WWD, Reebok will be launching a new marketing strategy this Spring focusing on its Athletes fitness. Um, that makes sense. With NIKE continuing its market share dominance and Adidas making moves, interested to see how this one pans out for the R.

Hand-made in the US, this 100% leather duffle back from North Carolina based Colsen Keane is slick. Built to hold enough for a short trip (2 pairs of shoes and 2 stacks of clothes), this bag (handmade in the US of course) features "some of the industries strongest leather", copper rivets, 3 buckles, and shoulder strap. Elegant in simplicity, it is a bit boxy, but it will get the job done. Purchase here.

*Lost Post* - I was going through some old posts that were still in the draft phase on the blog, and stumbled on this one from November of 2012. If you watch (or are watching) NBC's The Voice this season, you'll see Christina is back to normal - but I figured I'd go ahead and post anyway.
There was quite an unflattering group of pictures of Xtina on WWTDD the other day, which also reminded of an article Complex did a couple months back titled "5 reasons we still love the Fat Christina". Man - you guys out here on the internet are doing my girl Xtina dirty!

Look - I get it. You probably aren't going to read this post because it looks like someone is just sticking folded up clothes in a pillow-case. Trust me - there is more to the picture than meets the eye. My wife always gives me a hard time and says that I need bags for my bags - but Outlier's Doublebag makes the comment a bit more of a reality. The thought is relatively simple - but I've never seen it executed so well. Two bags in one - clothes start out on the clean side, and as your trip progresses, they get moved to the dirty side. Doesn't sound that thought provoking or intriguing, but check out the demonstration here.
Yup. I'll be needing one of these (to put inside of my duffle bag, ha).

It was alluded to way back in July when I first posted the XPAYNE interview - and here it is, the XPAYNE x OSTT Collab! If you are familiar with XPAYNE's work - you'll notice a heavy dose of 90's inspired subjects (Do the Right Thing, Martin, House Party, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Outkast, etc). I wanted to leverage the 90's connection as well as the strong inspiration from music, but step a bit outside of the current range. When I think culture icons of the 90's, It's Pac and Kurt Cobain. Since he had already did the Rose That Grew From Concrete piece - paying tribute to the classic Nirvana Unplugged performance was a no brainer. Unfortunately- this can't go up for sale due to copyright issues - but please do continue to support XPAYNE's grind and visit his webstore here.

If you are going to wear a graphic t - there are a few pre-requsities. It should be bold, have dope art, and stand out. Some may argue it should be borderline offensive. If you are one of those folks, Mister Cartoon and UNDFTD have something in store for you this holiday season! Purchase here.

Been a Clippers fan for years - and before JCross came aboard, I wasn't THAT familiar with him or his game. I'd see the occasional highlight from his previous stops in ATL, NY, and Portland, but there is so much more to his game. Put it this way - I thought ClipperNation losing Nick Young and picking up Jamal Crawford in the summer of 2012 was a wash - whooooooops). For being as humble, polite, and soft-spoken as he is off the court, Jamal Crawford easily has the most disrespectful game in the NBA (I mean that in a good way). I can't get enough of watching him on the court.
That being said, I'm super stoked that Crawford is getting the opportunity to be the flagship athlete signed to El Segundo based footwear/apparel/lifestyle company BrandBlack, headed by David Raysse (formerly of both FILA (designed the classic Grant Hills) and Adidas. BRANDBLACK is [a company] dedicated to those individuals who compete at the highest level, and whose fashion reflects their distinctive style on and off court.
Given some of the performances JCrossover has already put in so far this year and the sneak peak of BrandBlack's upcoming collection - I'm looking forward to seeing what both parties bring to the table in 2014.

Never would of thought a pair of slim fit sweats would even hit the outer region of my radar, but hey - sometimes you leave the house on lazy days, might as well be more stylish with it? That being said, people that have moved on from The Hundreds need to keep Public Label in the conversation, because they have consistently been putting together quality projects and gear, and hey, it was created just for you.

I haven't actually seen a name for these - so if the name "Vanilla Bean" sticks, you know where you saw it first! These are some shoes that you know you shouldn't get just because you will never be able to keep them as clean as they need to be, but at the same time, it's going to hurt (a lot) to pass on them. Lookout for more information on a drop date soon.

Believe it or not, it's really hard to remember the name "Endless Ammo" when all you can remember is that they make a nice pair of digi camo twill pants and there is "Ammo" somewhere in the brand name (try googling 'Ammo' and 'Camo pants' - yikes). My boy Drew came through with 3 separate reminders, and finally one stuck. Details: Dope print - made in San Fran - nice fit. Purchase here.

XXL linked up with Kurupt to get some insight from the Kingpin himself on 8 of XXL's favorite verses from the ferocious MC. Maybe its just because Kurupt is in my top 10, but this is definitely worth a read/listen/viewing.
He touches on New York, New York (my personal favorite Kurupt song, and one of the best hip-hop verses of all time), Stranded on Death Row ("I just wanted to serve every rapper on the planet. That’s all. Yeah. It was that easy. It was that simple. I just wanted to slaughter everybody who thought they could rap. I think I definitely got close to it. Definitely.), and It Ain't No Fun ("Snoopy was in it and was like, “You can’t kill everybody, Kurupt. You gotta make records that people can relate to.” You know what I mean? “Ain’t No Fun” was more about fun than anything. It was more about us enjoying ourselves and having a good time...Before then, I was just into records where I was annihilating rappers." Check it out here.
Side-note - does anybody remember the show MTV's Celebrity Rap Superstar? It was basically an American Idol/The Voice type show where MTV took celebrities (Kendra from Playboy, Sebastian Bach from metal band Skid Row, Shar Jackson, etc) and had them mentored by legit MC's (Kurupt, MC Lyte, Redman, Warren G, etc) to perform. Shar Jackson ended up winning, but I think Sebastian Bach was robbed. Check out the clip of him performing Doggy Dogg World with Kurupt after the jump.

There is a big difference between a diary and a journal, and an even more distinguished between a journal and daily record book. Rather than jumping in to it, I'll let Jon Contino of WORD explain his inspiration behind the latest project, and touch on the purpose. The leather carrying case and the fact that both the notebook and sleeve are made in the USA is just icing on the cake. Purchase here, and watch the video after the jump.

I kind of have an affinity/addiction for small little bags/carrying cases for organizing items on the go. This key coin pouch has two zippered pouches, a clear vinyl pocket on the front for an id/card, and a key ring that can get firmly tucked in the front pocket to keep the flat facade. At a price of 13.23 and made of quality Cordura, this is hard to pass on.
Drifter's Drifter USA also has a great line-up of backpacks and duffles.

Rolling Stone magazine has released an excerpt from Mike Tyson's soon to be released memoir, Undisputed Truth, and it looks to be a knockout (Sorry, couldn't contain to hit you with a pun. Whoops.) Check the link out and read up on Tyson co-signing Charlie Murphy's Rick James stories, drinking with Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire, and lack of game when it came to women.
