YG - My Krazy Life

I'm a reasonable enough person to say that I have absolutely no reason to gravitate towards certain types of artists; and YG is an artist in that category. That being said, it's November (nearly 9 months after its release date), and YG's debut album, My Krazy Life, is still in rotation. A buddy of mine is trying to find a pair of quality raw denim overalls. Not this faded/pre-distressed pair as worn by Rikki Barton above, but a pair that he can rock and break in. John Culqui

I came across John Culqui's art during a family pit-stop to Nikau Kai Waterman Shop in Manhattan Beach, and instantly fell in love. Beach centric beach scenes full of references to the South Bay (El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach) in a pop art fashion - sweet. Check it out here, and support your local artists!

You know what I haven't done in a really long time? Bought anything from The Hundreds or from Death Row Records. That will all be changing very shortly when I purchase the black out version of the Death Row x The Hundreds collaboration. Swiss based ON releases the holiday collection of the world's lightest running shoe, the aptly named Cloud. Weighing only 7 OZ's, it's actually not bad. More info at the Beast.

El-P + Killer Mike = Run the Jewels

El-P and Killer Mike re-unite once again for an album (not a mixtape - so purchase it on iTunes) as Run The Jewels. I've listened to a few times, and it's quality, and worth the $9.99. I could share a song from the album, but if you are familiar with either of their work, you already know the quality that awaits you. Instead, check after the jump for a 2 min video from Killer Mike (via Adult Swim) simply titled "Life Advice". I've been waiting for the right occassion to post this for awhile now, and it doesn't get much better than this - Killer Mike hits the nail on the head multiple times.
