I've never been one to collect Supreme decks like the are high brow art pieces (Hurst hates that, by the way)and hang them in the pad, but the fact remains that Supreme does bring the best in from all realms for collabs, albeit music/sports/fashion or art. Case in point, the soon to be released (4.2.09)decks designed by Damien Hurst. Check the Supreme site for additional info. Word.

I think this is going to be a great show/exhibit. The Gallery's blog has already previewed some sick pieces, and I know a lot of great surprises are in store for the April 2nd opening.
See you guys there...

A.P.C is bringing this pair of pre-washed/distressed denim out with their Spring/Summer collection. When it comes to A.P.C, I prefer to start with their Raw Selvidge denim and let the whiskers and honeycombs be worked in naturally, but for you impatient folks out there, keep these in mind, as A.P.C reps the best in quality French denim. Check it thier site here...

Damn, this DJ Class song was one that I was embarrased to dig...Kanye hops on the remix so now maybe now it's ok to like the original?
Kanye comes in and SHUTS IT DOWN. Takes over from my previous line of the song, which was via DJ Class ("I'm a grown ass man, so shorty you can spend the night")
“I got them Yeezy’s on my feet/ I got them Louie’s in the store/ And I dropped another album/ ‘fore we finished up the tour/ And it’s still top 10 ’bout 15 weeks later/ So that’s a middle finger for you 808 haters.”

I was just telling a couple of my friends how sick Mike Taylor (rookie pg on the Clippers) is, but since a) he doesn't get much tick and b)the Clippers are wack sauce this year, they all just kind of took my word for it and kept it moving.
Lo and behold, in addition to being sick with it on the warm up dunks, my boy went out and dropped 35 tonight in an OT victory against the Knicks.

Before my love/infactuation began with new Kobe's, I was all about the Jordan 23's, so much so that they were the first pair of Jordan's I actually bought (to ball in). The performance was great, no complaints on my end. They must have had that good reputation, since someone busted my car window and stole them out the trunk back in February. Now I know what it was like to rock a pair of J's back in the 80's. Anyways, Nice Kicks put together some of the best player exclusive mark-ups from Joe Johnson, CP3, and Melo. Check it out here.

Cruisin' through the beast today, and I saw the above shirt and thought that I was instantly feeling. I think I did about a triple take when I saw it was part of Neighborhood's web store exclusives. Um, let's see, this isn't black, it isn't motorcycle inspired, it isn't Neighborhood! Haha. Regardless, one of Japan's hottest drops more heat. Check here for more info, and pick one up on the 25th of March.

Ideall is a upstart brand out of Canada that has been pretty consistent the last two seasons. I featured their "Heartbroken" crew back in back in Feb, but this one slipped under the radar. Design is sharp, and I'm probably drawn to it for its Nautica-esque asthetic, but if Ideall keeps bringing designs like this, they'll be around for awhile.

Hmmm. I wasn't feelin these much when the black/white pic dropped, they just looked way to much like a Vans-Authentic model, or a Chuck Taylor lo top. Color does them some justice, but they are still a blatent carbon meshing of the 2 models mentioned above. It's a recession though, and can you really complain for $65?

I told you back in October that Warriors of Radness is one of my fav brands out right now, and they are back with another clean line up for Spring. The quality of this gear is bar none. Looks like they added some cut n sew to the line this go around as well (check the flannel, via The Feed.

First pic from this season's obligatory Vans/Supreme collab. I'm liking the White/Grey lo tops a bit. Green and Red joints are a bit much for me though.
Also, really good interview with James Jebbia, Supreme's founder. Check it out at Interview Mag, worth the read.
It's something about going to a record store on Tuesday, coppin a new release, tearin off the plastic, and listining to the cd from start to finish.
I'm liking the Padded Room a lot. It's low on Cameo's (just a quick 16 from The Game and a nice hook from Emmy) and aside from a couple more upbeat tracks (Now I Lay,The Future and Adrenaline), the CD has Budden at his 'Mood Muzik' best.
Some of my favorites:
EXXXES - crazy track, good concept.
In My Sleep - again, dope concept.
Blood on the Wall - Fierce (poor prodigy gets it, AGAIN).
I think my favorite 3 tracks are the last 3 though, Do Tell, Angel in My Life, and Pray for Me (this last track especially....going back and forth with God on a track like its never been done before - think DMX with Damien (part i, ii, iii lol), but hotter. Perfect finish to an all around Great album.
BTW - there is a rumor running the streets down here in LA that Crooked I was shot this weekend? Hope its new true, and if so, hope for a speedy recovery.
