Canvas Magenta Nike Air Max 1

Wow! I like the use of Canvas on these a lot - but the colorway is a bit too extreme for my tastes. I can see a select few outfits these could work with, but not sure if the price would line up with how often they'd actually be sported. I'm looking forward to some canvas Air Max 1's that aren't quite as bright as what's currently out.

20 Year Anniversary of the LA Riots

It's hard to believe that its been 20 years since the LA Riots wreaked havoc on the streets in LA. Not sure what the media coverage has been like in other areas of the US (or the world, for that matter), but the media (both print and online) here in LA has been putting together some great pieces on the 20 year anniversary of this infamous event. Randomly stumbled on this video of Tupac speaking on the 1992 riots - make sure and check it out after the jump. "It's time for America to look at how it looks at minorities. You either live or you die by stereotypes. You live or you die by ignorance. Either we change, or we all fall".

The Hundreds - Public Label

The Hundreds Public Label is back for another season, check the collection lookbook here. I really like the more mature options that streetwear vets like Stussy (Stussy Deluxe) and The Hundreds (through Public Label) are providing.

Ralph Pugay

I'm liking the artwork of Ralph Pugay - it's a little digital, a little political, and a lot of weird - but definitely worth a look. You can check out some of his more recent works here.

The Cool Cats x Stussy

The Cool Cats and Stussy released a collaborative effort - available now!
Bonus: Check out the Cool Cats DJ's spinning out in Dessert for a Coachella party after the jump.

Miranda Kerr for Reebok - "Yoga"

Miranda Kerr by Rankin for Reebok-02

I think it's safe to say that this ad campaign will keep my attention for a longer period of time than Reebok's recent videos featuring Rick Ross and Tyga/Mike Posner. Photography by Rankin.

Tanner Goods - Behind The Scenes

Complex put up a really great 5min documentary with the folks over at Tanner Goods on their site the other day, and I highly recommend checking it out (click here to do so). Warning: if you watch this video with your significant other - you run the risk of not only having to buy yourself a new belt, but having them want one as well. Been posting on Tanner Goods for awhile now (search the archives), but this is one of the best documentaries on them that I've seen. More pics (of how to rock your Tanner Goods), and another interview, after the jump.

ASAP Rocky x Stussy (Friends and Family)

The ASAP Crew links up with Stussy on this extremely limited friends and family release (23 pieces). More pics over at Complex! Check a picture of ASAP linking up with Abel from The Weeknd after the jump, and check out a link to ASAP Rocky's full Coachella performance from 2012 as well.

Bootleg - World Peace Shirt

That was fast. In less than 24 hours, Bootleg throws together a shirt paying homage to Metta World Peace  Ron Artest's best Ludacris impression on James Harden from last night. In all seriousness - wowsers. That play looks MUCH worse in slow motion, when you see the wind-up. Pre-order here.

Disneyland

I hit up Disneyland last night to celebrate Wifey and the future Sister-in-law's bday's, and I'll be damned if Captain EO isn't the coolest ride around. I can't even express how happy I am they brought that ride experience back after MJ's untimely passing - I think it had been 15+ years since I had last seen it and Disneyland, and it was somehow cooler than I remembered (think it was the 80's-esque funk and haircuts of some of the dancers). California Adventure is a dope little spot as well - nothing beats being able to go to the Pacific Wharf and grab a Karl Strauss Tower 10 IPA while waiting in line for one of the rides.

Wait - was this really my 3rd Disney related post at OSTT?

HUF - Spring Delivery 2

HUF's 2nd installment of their Spring collection is available online now, and while the picture above doesn't reflect too much of what to expect from the collection, I loved the simplicity (just my two cents). If you are in to the busier side of things, HUF also released a pack' commemorating yesterday's 4.20 national holiday. I have to mention it, because even though it's not my thing - the product that came out of this year's collection is crazy.

Cole Haan x Nike Lunargrand (Leather)

Last month, we brought you the suede Cole Haan wingtips with Lunargrand technology. I don't know about you - but to me, they were the perfect blend of sportswear and office wear. Personally, I love rocking a clean pair of Nike Air Max 1's to the office with some nice jeans and a collared shirt - but wearing dress shoes elevates business casual up a notch. Anyway - I was a huge fan of the suede Lunargrand's previous featured (so much so that I bought a pair), but these leather CH x Nike wingtips here are something serious! Currently only being sold in the New York (SOHO) flagship - cross you fingers and hope they are coming to a store near you soon!

New Balance 30th Anniversary - 990 Model

New Balance 990 - M990GL3 - Men's Stability Shoes

New Balance doesn't get a lot of love on the fashion blogs - but those in the know give props. Home of highly functional (yet visually basic) running shoes - New Balance has been doing it big for 30 years now, and commemorated the event with this special 990 model (made right here in the good ol' USA). Check out an article form The New York Times on the subject, and purchase here. Pics of some low-key New Balance supports after the jump.

Stussy - Chainlink Camp Cap

It's spring time in Southern California! You can probably tell the suns been out here with all the posts related to sunglasses and hats lately - and guess what - here's another one! I'm digging the all over chain-print design on the 5-panel design. Purchase here.

Stussy - Radar Tank

I was having a talk with my pop's the other day - telling him how "in" camo prints are this season. Everywhere you look - all the cool guys are rocking Camo - whether it be shorts (HUF SF), jackets (The Hundreds), pants (Supreme), bags/accessories (Hershel), hats (HUF) - whatever else (OBEY), it's all over. He finds it pretty ironic, being that he spent 10+ years of his life travelling the world (Germany, France, London, Greece, Asia, etc) during his stint in the army as a US Ranger Batallion (get a few drinks in him - the stories will flow, and the stories are endless).

Anyway, he disappeared for a few minutes, and came back with 20 different camo jackets - having a story for each. I came out with 2 - one issued by the US (I took one with his patches removed - didn't want to front on my experience. Why are the patches removed you ask? Because he would trade his patches to German teens at the pubs in exchange for Beers). I also came out with a camo jacket from the British Army. Apparently a british soldier was going to be stationed in Ireland in winter - and wanted a warmer sleeping bag (the US' army equipment was superior - who'd of thunk) - so pops traded him the sleeping bag for the Brit's full army uniform - pretty dope.

Yikes - got off track a bit. Purchase the tank pictured above over at Stussy now! Oh - and don't forget to check all the links for the camo products mentioned above - lot of good stuff out now.

Bottega Veneta - Denim Oxford Shoes

I'd file these under the "dope shoes - but when am I ever going to wear them" category. Take a step back - you can't wear them with jeans (Denim on denim? Pass), they'd look foolish with Cords or even Camaflouge pants -  and dumber still with shorts. So that makes your sole option (in my opinion) khaki's and slacks. From an execution and style perspective - they nailed it - I just think they'd be hard to incorporate in to any sort of rotation. More pics and release info here.

Oakley Frogskins Acid Tortoise

Let me get this straight - classic Frogskins silhouette, flamed out reflective lenses, with pink tortoise print frames? Ok - I'm in. Available at Oakley dealers soon (mid April) - pic via the Feed.

GQ Interview - Jean Touitou of APC

GQ did a very insightful interview with Jean Touitou - founder of one of my favorite brands - APC, that I highly recommend checking out. In it, Jean touches on topics such as music of choice (Jazz, Classical, and Hip-hop), how his famed collaborations have come about (Nike, Supreme, Carhartt, etc), the brand's aesthetic, store layouts, and his general philosophies. Definitely worth a read!

OSTT Music | Weekly Roundup (Mixtapes)

In the past week there have been a few solid mixtapes that have dropped. I may not have added all of them but these are the ones I think are buzzworthy. You may have heard some of these names before and others you may not have. Hit the jump for a preview.

OSTT Music | Weekly Roundup (Singles)

Back again with a bunch of dope tracks that I've collected over the last week for you so you can listen to it all at once instead of checking back everyday and possibly missing something. I assume you all are cool with my selections since I didn't have anyone reach out to me with dope music. Hopefully you find some music that you like since it's quite tedious gathering all these tracks for you and putting them in one place. If you missed last weeks post check it out here. This week we have another good range from Kelly Rowland to Kendrick Lamar to Azalea Banks.

Check back next Tuesday for another weekly roundup. Enjoy!

SOLO Eyewear

Did you know that 80% of the worlds blindness is preventable? I didn't - until stumbling on this brand called SOLO while in San Diego last weekend. The brainchild of two San Diego State students - SOLO eyewear not only creates sustainable products (glasses feature bamboo - one of the world's fastest growing plants) - but it also has a social cause aspect - for each pair purchased, the buyer can decide whether the profits from their purchase should go to help paying for glasses or surgeries for the less fortunate. SOLO has a kickstarter page here - join the movement!

Oh, and shout out to the first brand that I was aware of that made rockable glasses out of wood - SHWOOD. Their use of Zebra wood is impeccable.

Vans California "Washed Stripe"
