Been a Clippers fan for years - and before JCross came aboard, I wasn't THAT familiar with him or his game. I'd see the occasional highlight from his previous stops in ATL, NY, and Portland, but there is so much more to his game. Put it this way - I thought ClipperNation losing Nick Young and picking up Jamal Crawford in the summer of 2012 was a wash - whooooooops). For being as humble, polite, and soft-spoken as he is off the court, Jamal Crawford easily has the most disrespectful game in the NBA (I mean that in a good way). I can't get enough of watching him on the court.
That being said, I'm super stoked that Crawford is getting the opportunity to be the flagship athlete signed to El Segundo based footwear/apparel/lifestyle company BrandBlack, headed by David Raysse (formerly of both FILA (designed the classic Grant Hills) and Adidas. BRANDBLACK is [a company] dedicated to those individuals who compete at the highest level, and whose fashion reflects their distinctive style on and off court.
Given some of the performances JCrossover has already put in so far this year and the sneak peak of BrandBlack's upcoming collection - I'm looking forward to seeing what both parties bring to the table in 2014.
