These horse-hair bracelets from Chamula are a step-up from the friendship bracelets my little cousin made me, but still quite a few steps below the "durable" Miansai bracelets. To be fair, I do like some of Miansai's new bracelet blends, and feel they are more reasonably priced within their proper range.
