Let's Ride

Had to show some love to the WEST COAST... yes, this video depicts a typical Saturday afternoon for me...what can I say, that's just how I get down...

Oh..and slowly but surely The Game's cd is leaking..sounds about right, 2 weeks or so early. My favorite track so far is the title song...Dr. Advocate. Amazing. Ol' English is a sick one too...looking forward to the 14th!

Special Needs

I always had a special thing for this shirt since I first saw it on krudmart a while back. Was it the clown? The colorway? The Cocaine? I'm not sure. I just can't cop it though, I just can't feel right with it...too many memories. Anyway, cop it! Shirt via Special Needs, Pic courtesy of SlamxHype.

Kid Robot LA re-opens, New Location!

I remember it like its yesterday...I'm chillin' at 3rd St. Promenade...hitting up a couple stores, when I decide that its time to to stop by Kid Robot, maybe pick up a Smorkin Labbit or Munny, you never know. To my surprise, I found a boarded up store with a note saying "KidRobot LA is moving to its new location, Grand Opening Soon"...

Well a month or so later, the info has finally come out, via Kid Robot

"We've packed up and moved our LA store over to Melrose Ave
And now that we are all set up we want you to come join us and
Swizz Beatz in celebrating the grand opening of our brand new store!
We have held back a few our most sought after hoodies just for this event.

So come on down to 7972 Melrose Ave. from 7-9PM to check out our new
digs and take home some amazingly limited apparel."

See you there! Well, if I'm off work by then ;)

Thank You

This is a couple weeks now though, but I've been playing the hell out of it. More so than the actual album version. Check out Xzibit's performace of his song, Thank You, live on Letterman. I must admit, I thought his career was over after Pimp My Ride...

New Ice Cream Accesories...

Ok...Pharrel, Nigo, seriously. $105 for the same type of belt I can get a t-shirt warehouse for $3 is a lil excessive, don't you think? Yeah, $60 for the boxers is a tad bit much as well.... BBC/IceCream if you are interested.

Undefeated x Stussy x Hectic x New Balance

I'm a little over the candy colored-taste the rainbow style shoes... I mean seriously, how many kicks do you need that have 5 colors that typically don't go together at all.... but hey, that's just me. Cop em while you can! Oct 21, Undefeated in Japan...

Iron Mike

UndrCrwn is back with a vengence on their new line... My personal fav is their tribute to Iron Mike himself...rockin the "'My style is impetuous, my defence is impregnable and I'm just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat his children..." quote on the back. Get yours at DG.

Update: Already sold out lol...

To Live and King in LA

The internationally known TSL crew rep hard for their own city on this fresh looking ode to life in LA. Illustrated as a giant four color front print. The pink is used again on the top back for the smaller 'The Seventh Letter Bombing Division' logo print.

Corazon

Hmm...not much out about this new brand. At first, I thought the logo was a lil disrespectful, but the brand is birthed in LA, so I doubt that. Let's see what else they bring to the table in the coming days...

NBA/Hip-Hop Comparisons

DimeMag did a nice lil article comparig different rappers to the NBA counterpart... Pretty good analysis

Check it out here...

a couple excerpts:

J.R. Smith and The Game
These two 6-6, attitude-filled stars are both blessed with mad talent. We knew that when they both stepped on the scene. However, due to both guys having strife with their respective front offices, maybe a change of scenery (Game leaving G-Unit; J.R. leaving the Hornets) will help take their careers to the next level.

Larry Hughes and Fabolous
These guys came into the game early and have matured into solid performers. With a laid-back swagger many wonder if Hughes and Fab have the heart to do what they do consistently. They haven’t let us down yet.
